It was tight but there was just enough walking room among the booths to accommodate visitors to the Vineyard Artisans 16th annual Thanksgiving Festival Friday and Saturday at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury.
The hall was filled with shoppers catching up with old friends sharing Thanksgiving tales and artisans plying their wares and catching up with each other.
There were painters and glassmakers, jewelers, and printers, weavers and photographers, sculptors and authors, leatherworkers and jam makers, sachet booths and a wonderful assortment of food available to be consumed on the spot. Shoppers could find handbags and shawls, wall hangings and coasters, brass lanterns, greeting cards and placemats, woodblock prints and framed aphorisms, crocheted caps and brooms.
