The team of Doug Cooper and Aksel Cooperrider won this year’s Farm Neck Over/Under Classic doubles tennis tournament, defeating Mr. Cooper’s wife, Carla, and her partner, Connor Downing, in the finals on Monday, August 4. The tournament was a one-day round-robin for teams comprised of one adult over 35 and one junior under 17. Eight teams entered this year’s tournament, four playing in each of two divisions with the division winners making the finals.
The club is holding its annual Junior Club Tennis Championships this weekend, August 8–10, at the club in Oak Bluffs.
