Zak Danz topped Nainoa Cooperrider in a tightly-fought competition at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School’s first table tennis tournament on Wednesday, Jan. 13.
Zak won the final game 12-10, and overall match 3 games to 2, to take first-place honors. Runner-up Doug DeBettencourt finished in third place by outscoring James Kelliher 3-0 in straight matches. The finalists are all members of the the school’s table tennis club.
