Snow on the first day of spring was followed by snow on the first Sunday in April. Those were really huge snowflakes. And more is forecast before spring is through. I don’t like this kind of spring weather, thank you.
Islanders delighted in sharing the 20th anniversary of the Community Chorus last weekend. Congratulations to the chorus. People are still talking about enjoying yet another remarkable performance of exceptional music.

Has Martha’s Vineyard Community Services been a part of your life? Whether you’re a supporter or an individual affected by the work of MVCS through programs to end violence, or for counseling or the early childhood program, or even the Thrift Shop, you have a story to tell. They would love to hear it. When people share stories of struggle or hope, it tells all of us that we’re not alone. Your story can be long, short, funny, touching, helpful, or just a great story — whatever you want to share. MVCS will collect your story (and maybe a photo) to share with others on the website. Inspire our Island community. Submissions may be anonymous. Fill out the form at bit.ly/MVCSstoryshare.
