Free medical housing in Boston for Island residents

Hospitality Homes has been providing free medical housing for over 30 years in the Boston area. The housing supports family members and loved ones who need to to be in the Boston area during care or treatment of a loved one. According to a press release, they provide no-cost overnights in Airbnb listings, private homes, and very low-cost accommodations in four donated apartments near Mass. General Hospital, and others near Boston City Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. They serve about 10 Vineyard families per year, but would like to increase that number. There are no qualifying medical or income requirements, other than reference checks, needed for Hospitality Homes to help people find housing.
