The Gay Head Gallery in Aquinnah has officially changed its name to the Sargent Gallery. Gallery owner and curator Megan Ottens-Sargent said the new title “better evokes the intention and style of the gallery” in addition to honoring her family name, and recognizing the renaming of Gay Head as Aquinnah. To celebrate this the new name, the gallery will host a public reception on Sunday, July 10, from 5 to 7 pm, featuring new work and new artists.
