On May 13, from 10 am to 4 pm, the second annual Martha’s Vineyard Mini Makers Faire will be held at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury. According to a press release, the M.V. Mini Maker Faire showcases the amazing work of all kinds and ages of Vineyard makers — anyone who embraces the do-it-yourself (or do-it-together) spirit, and wants to share accomplishments with an appreciative audience.

Areas in which the Faire is looking for makers include student projects, robotics, homegrown drones, Arduino/Raspberry Pi communication, space projects, interactive art projects, textile arts and crafts, home energy monitoring, rockets and RC toys, sustainability and green tech,

puppets, kites, and other whimsical creations, shelters (tents, domes, etc.), music performances and participation, and unusual tools or machines. If you don’t have a project, the Faire has projects you can present.

Anyone interested in participating in the Makers Faire can contact Jennifer Rapuano at 508-696-4211, ext. 112, or jrapuano@clamsnet.org.
