Martha’s Vineyard Bank has announced that Lesley Heidt and Jill Hobby Napior were elected as corporators at the bank’s annual meeting of the corporators, held on Nov. 14.
According to a press release, Heidt is a partner and principal broker of Sandpiper Realty. She moved to the Island full-time in 1997 and joined Sandpiper Realty in 1998. In 2011, she assumed ownership of the agency along with her sister and business partner. Heidt holds a Massachusetts construction supervisor’s license, and is well equipped to provide her agents and clients with considerable insight and expertise in all aspects of real estate. Over the years Heidt has served on the finance committee for the Cape Cod and Island Association of Realtors and the Multiple Listing Service. She also has volunteered with various organizations, including the parents advisory committee of the Martha’s Vineyard Community Service Center’s Family Network.
Napior, a real estate broker for Tea Lane Associates, has been in the real estate industry since 1995. She is a co-owner/founder of Radius Construction, which specializes in custom home building on Martha’s Vineyard with a focus on real estate management. This skill set has allowed her to bring a thoughtful level of experience to the brokerage transaction process from start to finish. As a broker for Tea Lane Associates, she is committed to the highest level of excellence when serving clients and the community, and has been involved with various organizations such as Island Affordable Housing, but currently has been focused on education and community building efforts as a six-year member of the student advisory committee.
Both Heidt and Napior bring considerable insight and expertise in all aspects of real estate and a deep commitment to community service. Welcoming Heidt and Napior to their role as corporators of the bank, James Anthony, president and chief executive officer of Martha’s Vineyard Bank, stated that “Lesley and Jill bring invaluable entrepreneurial skills and a dedicated commitment to the Island’s most valued resource, its people. These attributes align very well with the bank’s mission and vision. I am confident that Lesley and Jill will be excellent ambassadors for Martha’s Vineyard Bank.”
