A Summer Without Prufrock
By Kate Feiffer
This summer on our busy rock:
Cocktails served with no Prufrock.
Will its absence be discussed
Along with politics and disgust?
While we rage against traffic and ticks
And rising prices that tariffs don’t fix,
While we complain about war and hackers,
What will we use to coat our crackers?
(With thanks to editor and poet Laura D. Roosevelt)
