The Summer Institute hosts speakers who are deeply and actively involved in politics, economics, science, and the arts. On July 16, John Harwood, political Substack host, interviewer, journalist, podcaster, and former CNN White House correspondent, joins fearless Miami Herald investigative reporter Julie K. Brown, who broke the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking story, and was just awarded a Pulitzer Prize Special Citation for her work.
And on Sunday, July 12, catch the film “Among Neighbors.” Winner of Best Documentary at the Los Angeles Film Awards (March 2025), and Special Award Winner at the Warsaw Jewish Film Festival, “Among Neighbors” is directed by awardwinning filmmaker Yoav Potash. This powerful documentary plays like a real-life murder mystery, digging up truths of violence, complicity, and silence. In the small Polish town of Gniewoszów, the erased history of neighbors bound by ties of love and betrayal are brought to life through animation, with touches of magical realism. 7:30 pm; runtime: 100 minutes.
