Last Wednesday, the girls’ soccer team hosted their only night game of the season against Sandwich High School. The game felt special playing under the lights, and also because it was the team’s annual Cancer Awareness Game. The team raised money for the American Cancer Society, wore pink, and even dedicated “red cards for cancer” to people they know and love. They held a pregame ceremony including a moment of silence. The game ended in a 4-1 loss.
