Make a commitment
To the Editor:
As happens every year at this time, there are town elections approaching. It's the opportunity for each of us to get involved. It doesn't do much good to sit on the sidelines and gripe. If you want our town to run democratically and efficiently, go to the town clerk's office, see what offices/boards/committees have positions up for grabs and take out a nominating paper. There's still three weeks to file. Plenty of time.
It's a commitment to better our town and to better ourselves.
