Not Your Sugar Mamas recently opened up their second store, this one located on Winter Street in Edgartown. Along with their signature chocolate bars, drinks, cookies, and cupcakes, new items include organic superfood smoothies, chocolate soda, superfood muffins, scones and raw fudge truffles, and cookie-like truffles. Make sure to visit the chocolatiers at their grand opening on Saturday, May 25, from 8:30 am to 9 pm, to sample some of their new treats.

The Edgartown location is open Thursday through Sunday from 8:30 am to 5 pm until Memorial Day, then 7 days a week, from 8 am to 10 pm. The Vineyard Haven store is open 7 days a week.

Lobsterville Bar and Grille in Oak Bluffs kicked off their season on May 15 with a new chef in the kitchen, Dave Henry, formally of Eleven North in Edgartown and Fishbones in Oak Bluffs. Mr. Henry will take the helm adding new lobster dishes to the menu including a lobster BLT and lobster macaroni and cheese. Don’t worry, favorite items from last year, such as Pig Wings and Bang Bang Shrimp, made the cut.

This week, Edgartown welcomes a new coffee shop located next to Pure Touch Salon at the Harborside Inn. Tocco Puro, “pure touch” in Italian, will offer a variety of coffees, teas, espresso, and bubble tea, a cold fruit flavored or milk tea with large tapioca balls, as well as breakfast and lunch items. Join owners Jay and Mindy Kirwin at their soft opening this Thursday, May 16.

Tocco Puro will be open year-round, from 6 am to 10 pm in the summer and 8 am to 5 pm in the winter.

The Port Hunter in Edgartown opens for its second season on Thursday, May 16, with new chef Aaron Oster on board. Stop by on Sunday, May 19, for a one-time only Sunday blow-out with half off all food. Check out their new menu on Facebook.

Right Fork Diner in Edgartown will open for breakfast at 7 am this Friday, May 17, and The Outermost Inn in Aquinnah opens Friday night for dinner.

Flatbread Company at the airport opens Thursday, May 16, and kicks off the season with an opening party on Saturday, May 18. Grab some pizza and enjoy music from Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish and Good Night Louise. The festivities begin at 8 pm, with no cover charge for the night.

Beetlebung in Menemsha opens on Monday, May 20, with new chef Jerry Marano.

Favorites from last year that will reappear on the menu include The Quitsa, a hand-picked wild New England crab melt, and Blackwater Farm local greens salads with house dressing made from fresh garden herbs. Popular drinks that are not to be missed include fruit and organic yogurt smoothies; the Bungaccino, an espresso shake; and Arnold Palmers made from fresh squeezed lemonade and a choice of organic brewed iced tea.

This year, customers can look forward to Beetlebung brunch, lobster sliders, and a rotation of daily specials you can find on Beetlebung’s Facebook page, as well as half off most breakfast food items from 7 to 9 am, daily.

Beetlebung is opened from 7 am to 5 pm this spring and 7 am to 7:30 pm this summer. Next year, Beetlebung is spreading its roots to Oak Bluffs, with a “small plates” evening lounge slated to open in 2014 at the former Deon’s Restaurant location.
