Golf: Blue Devils exorcised
The MVRHS golf team won its seventh match of the season at Sandwich Hollows by defeating Chatham, 28.5 to 15.5, Monday.
Chatham's Sam Kenneway beat Alex Bilzerian 5.5-3.5 in the first flight with the medalist round of 41.
Mike deBettencourt evened things by winning his first flight match, 8-1,
Chris Morris (7.5-1.5) and Kat DeBettencourt (7-2) swept the second flight as did Austin Smith (6-3) and Corey Perrotta (6.6-2.5) the third.
The Islanders hosted Falmouth (5-2) yesterday.
