Golfers driven to win
The Martha's Vineyard Regional High School golf team earned its 13th win, Thursday, defeating Sturgis at Farm Neck, 40-14.
Both Mike deBettencourt and Alex Bilzerian won their matches in the first flight. Mike's 39 was the medalist round.
In the second flight, Justin Smith and Chris Morris prevailed, as did Kat Debettencourt and Cal Fiore in the third. The MV putters improved to 13-5 on the season. Sturgis is 7-6-1.
