Interscholastic soccer regular season ends

The Martha’s Vineyard Youth Soccer School League wrapped up its regular season Saturday at the West Tisbury School.

In girls action, Oak Bluffs capped off an unbeaten, once-tied campaign with a 2-0 win over Tisbury/Charter School United.

The Blazers finished first with 13 points. West Tisbury, Edgartown, and Tisbury/Charter rounded out the table.

The semi-finals will be Saturday at the West Tisbury School with Tisbury/Charter taking on Oak Bluffs and Edgartown facing West Tisbury. Match times are 10 and 11 am.

The boys varsity School League also heads into the playoffs next weekend. Up-Island ran away with the regular season — winning six, losing once, and tying once. Oak Bluffs finished second, and the Charter School third.

The boys championship will be decided in a round robin tournament that ends on November 13 at 2 pm at the West Tisbury School.
