Gas prices in Massachusetts dipped for the fourth straight week, falling to $3.61 per gallon — matching the national average — but remaining 98-cents-per-gallon higher than the same week a year earlier, according to AAA of Southern New England. The organization found that gas prices ranged from $3.42 per gallon to $3.89 per gallon for regular gasoline.
On Martha’s Vineyard Tuesday, gas prices were about $4.50 per gallon for regular.
