It’s the most wonderful time of the year here on Martha’s Vineyard. All throughout Edgartown, shops and storefronts are putting out their bows and wreaths, and soon the whole town will be glowing with lights. The festivities kick off Friday evening with the illumination of the Edgartown lighthouse, then continue all weekend with a Christmas parade, Donaroma’s pageant of trees, carols, concerts, and visits from Santa. You can pop into almost any business for a holiday open house, or a sale to spur your holiday shopping.

Behold the delight on a child’s face when they spy Santa Claus. Watch couples stroll hand in hand under the lights. Let a cup of hot chocolate warm frosted fingers. Eat. Drink. Be Merry.
