The Vineyard sixth grade boys had an exciting Saturday with hard-fought battles against undefeated Franklin and South Plymouth. In game one against Franklin, Logan Araujo came up just short on a last-second shot that would have won the game. Franklin prevailed, 28-27, in an intense defensive battle. Jeremy Regan led the offense with 11 points.
In game two, the Vineyard had an easier time moving through the South Plymouth press defense, and prevailed 39-36 in overtime. Jeremy and Jared Regan combined for 29 points. Avery Villegas and Tim Wallis were relentless on the defensive end.
