Edgartown Hardware on West Tisbury Road in Edgartown plans to open a new paint store on March 10 at 15 Merchants Court off State Road in Tisbury, across the parking lot from the Black Dog Cafe.
The store, also named Edgartown Hardware, will feature Benjamin Moore paints and a large variety of supplies related to painting, from preparation to application to cleanup.
Edgartown Hardware store owner John Montes said he agreed to open the Vineyard Haven store at the request of the Benjamin Moore Paint Company, for which he has been an authorized retailer for many years. Bob O’Neil, who joined his staff in Edgartown last spring, will be the new store’s manager.
The paint store will be open from 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Saturday, according to Edgartown Hardware store manager Jonathan Polleys.
