Bishop Feehan tops Vineyarders on diamond

Bishop Feehan broke open a close game with three runs over the final two innings to beat Martha’s Vineyard, 6-2, in an Eastern Athletic Conference contest Monday in Oak Bluffs.

Vineyard starter Tim Roberts allowed just two hits and two earned runs in five solid innings of work. He also went 2 for 3 at the plate. Emerson Mahoney and Mike Mussell had RBI singles in the third inning for the Vineyarders, who fell to 3-7 overall and 0-3 in the EAC.
