To the Editor:
On Saturday, June 7, we celebrated our son Robbie Gale’s 50th birthday.
As Robb’s parents we know that Robb is a very special guy, and we’re proud of him.
It became very obvious to us by the turnout of so many friends and family that Robbie is loved by many. Thank you!
We are very grateful to all who took the time to help us celebrate Robb’s half century; some even traveled from off Island.
Thanks very much to Wendy Lopez Matta for organizing, setting up, and cooking, along with her son, Nathan Lopez Matta. You did a great job and we appreciate your hard work for the entire day.
A special thanks to R.J. Cage for all the time he spent planning and making the three amazing cakes for Robb, with assistance from the very talented Laurie Bell.
Thank you to Seven Hills for all they contributed to the party — awesome!
Thanks to all who brought delicious food to share and thoughtful gifts and many generous gifts of money and gift cards.
We are very grateful to have so many caring friends and family members.
It really was a perfect day; even the weather, well it was the best, sunny and warm. We hope you all enjoyed the day as much as we did.
