To the Editor:
The family of JoAnn deBettencourt would like to thank everyone for the love and support shown to us during the loss of our loved one. Words can not truly express our gratitude in all that was done for our family.
We would like to take a moment and make a special thank-you to Dr. John Lamb, the staff of the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital emergency room, along with all the nurses and staff that helped us along the way. Also, a special thank-you to the physical therapy team, Oak Bluffs Ambulance Services, Vineyard Nursing Association, Windemere, Hope Hospice, and Chapman Cole & Gleason. You were there in our time of need for JoAnn and the deBettencourts, and we are forever grateful. Your care, compassion, and professionalism was appreciated.
JoAnn will be missed forever, but you know that she will live in the hearts of all who shared her life with us.
