Martha’s Vineyard U-8 travel baseball all-stars win in Bourne

The Martha’s Vineyard U-8 (under eight years old) baseball all-star team beat Bourne, 7-6, Sunday to clinch the Bourne Tournament Championship.

On Saturday, the 8’s beat Barnstable, 19-11, lost to Wareham, 10-9, and lost to Bourne, 11-1, to finish pool play at 1-2.  Sunday the team avenged the loss to Wareham in the semi-final game, 14-11, and advanced to beat a talented Bourne team to win it all.
