On Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6 and 7, the Wampanoag Tribe of Gay Head (Aquinnah) celebrated their 10th annual Powwow at the Aquinnah Circle.
In addition to local tribal members from Aquinnah and Mashpee, the Powwow included members from other off-Island tribes, including Chippewa, Osage, Narragansett, and Pequot.
After an opening ceremony on Saturday, events included drumming groups, craft and food vendors, and of course, dancing.
