With just two games remaining in the fall baseball season, the Vineyard 12/13-year-old team remained undefeated, although challenged, with a 7-0 victory over Gateway Black and 7-7 tie with Sandwich this past Sunday.

In game one, Owen Bresnick and Jeremy Regan combined for four hits to lead the offense. In a tight battle against Sandwich, Miles Sidoti drove Harold Lawry home with a single to tie the game in the top of the final inning after the Vineyard trailed the entire game. Catcher Sam Cranston then threw out the potential winning runner in an attempted steal of third in the bottom of the seventh. The Vineyard record stands at 9-0-1 with a run differential of 117-26.
