Who says Halloween activities are only for dark and stormy nights? The Martha’s Vineyard Museum hosted its annual Halloween festival under sunny skies at the Vineyard Haven Property (the former Marine Hospital and St. Pierre School) overlooking Lagoon Pond on Sunday, October 26. The festival doubled as a would-be 200th birthday celebration for Nancy Luce, the “chicken lady” of Martha’s Vineyard who held an uncanny relationship with her birds. Guests enjoyed pumpkin painting, cookie decorating, print making, games, and fun costumes from fairies to Pokemon.
