At the Edgartown Bridge Club on December 8, six pairs competed. Finishing in first place were Bea Phear and Sue Collinson, followed by Diana Dozier and Gerry Averill in second.
At the Martha’s Vineyard Bridge Club in Vineyard Haven on December 9, seven pairs competed. Finishing first overall were Warren Morse and Gail Farrish, followed by Michel Riel and David Donald in second, and Colleen Morris and Art Spielvogel in third.
At the Island Bridge Club in West Tisbury on December 11, eight pairs completed. Finishing first were Bea Phear and Barbara Silk. Tied for second place were three pairs — Dave Donald and Rich Colter, Caroline Baum and Cathy Minkiewicz, and Dan and Nancy Cabot.
