Registration for the 2015 Martha’s Vineyard Little League Baseball season has officially opened for girls and boys in all divisions: Tee Ball (ages 4–6), Farm League (6–8), Minors (7–11), Majors (9–12), and Babe Ruth (13–15).

All players ages 7 to 12 who wish to play in Minors or try out for Majors will need to attend one of the tryout/evaluation dates in the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School gym. The evaluation of Minors players has been implemented this year to help ensure parity among the teams within the league, according to a press release. All players in the league age 10 or older must try out for Majors.

The tryout/evaluation sessions will be split up by age group, and are scheduled as follows:

Saturday, March 14: 7- and 8-year-olds from 9 to 10 am; 9- and 10-year-olds from 10 am to noon; 11- and 12-year-olds from noon to 1 pm.

Saturday, March 21: 7- and 8-year-olds from noon to 1 pm; 9- and 10-year-olds from 1 pm to 2 pm; 11- and 12-year-olds from 2 pm to 3 pm.

Register online at mvlittleleague.org/register/. Players will not be eligible to play until the organization has received confirmation of payment.
