In their first time playing on full ice, the Martha’s Vineyard Travel Mites ice hockey team won the Kevin P. Williamson Memorial Tournament in Falmouth last weekend. Four teams competed at the three-day event, two from Hingham, one from Canal, and Martha’s Vineyard. The Mites won all their games, including the final versus the Canal Sharks 5-3. The Travel Mites are comprised of 7- and 8-year-old boys and girls.
