Samantha Potter and Michael Halisky defeated Scott Smith and Connor Downing, 6-2, 6-3, in the Pro-Junior Tennis Exhibition match held at Vineyard Youth Tennis on Friday, March 27, in front of a full house. At the conclusion of the match, Executive Director Scott Smith presented Ms. Potter with a check for $1,000, courtesy of the VYT Scholarship and Activities Fund, meant to help with her college expenses. Ms. Potter will attend the Air Force Academy starting this summer for her collegiate studies.
