Planning a trip off-Island? According to a press release, the West Tisbury library is offering museum and aquarium passes to holders of West Tisbury CLAMS cards. The passes are the result of the generosity of the Friends of West Tisbury Library.
For Boston’s Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), admission without a pass is $25 per adult. Cardholders are limited to one coupon pass per day (and four per year) to the MFA; each pass will admit two at a price of $10 per person.
The library also has a pass for the Mystic Aquarium (usually $29.95 per adult) that saves each adult $5 (for up to four people; passes must be checked out, and returned to the library). The USS Constitution Museum pass (must be checked out and returned) allows free admission for parties of nine or fewer (suggested donation usually $5 to $10 per adult).
