Tisbury voters go to the polls on Tuesday to decide several races. The polls will be open from noon to 8 pm in the lower level of the public safety building opposite the Tisbury School.
Frank Brunelle, a Tisbury businessman, will face off against Larry Gomez, owner of Greenwood House inn and longtime chairman of the finance and advisory committee, for one seat on the three-member Tisbury board of selectmen.
Incumbent Daniel Seidman and Mr. Brunelle will compete for one five-year term on the planning board. Benjamin Robinson, appointed to fill the unexpired three-year term of Henry Stephenson, will run as a write-in candidate for the three-year term he now holds.
Additional announced write-in candidates, all unopposed include: Pamela S. Brock for the finance and advisory committee; Keenan Delaney for assessors; John Thayer for Department of Public Works; and George Balco for Library Trustees.
Voters will also confront six proposition 2.5 questions.
