To the Editor:
The appointment of Matthew D’Andrea as superintendent of Martha’s Vineyard Schools and Richard Smith as assistant superintendent suggests we are entering a golden age of public education on Martha’s Vineyard. Both bring a wonderful blend of skill, expertise, and kindness that will benefit children at all levels. We are fortunate as a community to have them.
