To the Editor:
A short note to thank all the concerned volunteers who came to my assistance Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 23, after my Toyota Tacoma was struck on the rear bed, causing it to flip on the driver’s side.
To the able man who pulled me out from the passenger door; to the many firemen ready with connected hoses in case of fire; to the EMTs who checked my vital signs, made sure I knew what day it was and what day I was born, and would transport me to the hospital if I felt pain later on in the day. Very professional.
To the police officers responsible for collecting accident data and to reassure themselves that I was OK.
I am thankful that the other driver was not injured and, above all, that
I was wearing my seat belt.
