To the Editor:

I am the director of Alex’s Place, but I write this letter as a fan of “Charlie Nadler Alive on Martha’s Vineyard: Love at Alex’s Place.” People are loving the album. It is a fine piece of intellectual comedy reminiscent of the classics, based on wordplay and insight into the world of the younger generation and us elders. It is a solid 30 minutes of thought-provoking, sublime, and well-executed comedy from a natural at this craft. No need to shock and awe, yet filled with mind-bending play on the ironies of the new society, with touches of insight into Vineyard life that only one of our own could observe.

And best of all, purchase of this album supports ongoing creative arts programs. Please consider joining in the new paradigm of comedy.

C’mon, give it a try — seriously: playitforward.com/projects/9.
