Gas prices in Massachusetts continued to drop last week, dipping 2 cents to an average price of $2.09 per gallon, according to AAA Northeast. Locally, gas prices are 10 cents less than a month ago and are $1.08 less than a year ago, AAA said Monday, according to the State House News Service. Gas prices in Massachusetts are also 17 cents lower than the national average of $2.26. AAA survey takers found gas for as low as $1.92 a gallon and as high as $2.55.

On Martha’s Vineyard Tuesday, regular was $3.19 per gallon at the Citgo in Vineyard Haven.
