Eleven swimmers from the YMCA Makos swim team excelled at the Pentathlon Swim Meet on Nantucket Saturday, accompanied by their coach, Rainy Goodale. The team’s performance began their season in the South Eastern Massachusetts Swim League.
Annabelle Brothers, age 10, and Gabby Carr, 12, placed first in their age groups. Christian Flanders, 10, Robert Goodale, 12, Renee Goodale, 16, and Evan Sauter, 15, all placed third in their groups.
Their next swim meet is on Sunday, Nov. 15, at Percy Walker Pool in Quincy.
