The Martha’s Vineyard Museum in Edgartown hosted a gingerbread house competition with a Vineyard twist last Friday evening: Islanders teamed up to build gingerbread lighthouses with a variety of sweet treats. Wade Johnson and Ally Reed, lighthouse keepers at the Edgartown and Gay Head Lighthouses, used their expertise to judge the completed lighthouses. In the end, the winning architects were Tate, Derek, Leigh, and Theo Fairchild-Coppoletti.
