The Portuguese-American Club in Oak Bluffs will host a spaghetti dinner on Sunday, Jan. 17, from 5 to 7 pm to benefit the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Close-Up Club. Students from the club, which meets regularly throughout the school year to study governmental issues and important current events, are raising money for their annual trip to Washington, D.C., in March. The $12 dinner includes spaghetti with Bolognese or pomodoro sauce, a side salad, homemade focaccia bread, and a beverage. For more information, call MVRHS at 508-693-1033.
