On a beautiful spring weekend, families across Martha’s Vineyard set out to enjoy the many Easter activities offered by Island businesses and community groups. Easter egg hunts sprang up all over the Island. The Harbor View Hotel invited families to descend upon Lighthouse Beach on Sunday morning to look for eggs amongst the sand and scrub. Up-Island, children searched through the plants of Vineyard Gardens for eggs.
The Easter Bunny was extremely busy, making appearances at several different egg hunts. The rabbit also stopped by the Flying Horses Carousel for their grand opening on Saturday, while children hopped upon the merry go round in hopes of grabbing the brass ring.
