Under the guidance of Coach Wendy Gray, the Martha’s Vineyard Youth Race Row team placed second out of seven in the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum’s Spring Wave intermediate category. Coxswain Chloe Loftfield guided the 32-foot wooden Cornish pilot gig gracefully across the finish line, with less than one minute separating them from the leaders after multiple heats.
