Jacob Cardoza, 2016 Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School graduate and senior captain of the MVRHS Baseball Team, was selected to play in the 39th annual Eastern Massachusetts Senior All-Star game on June 21 at BC High. According to a press release, Jacob was also selected as the MVP of the Eastern Athletic Conference. Jacob finished his senior year with a .348 batting average, 10 RBI, one home run, and 14 stolen bases. As a pitcher, he posted a 2.21 ERA, 36 strikeouts, and 12 walks in 57 innings.
