To the Editor:
Karl Nelson’s letter to the editor (Jan. 5, “The harm of legal marijuana”; Jan 5) was a litany on the dangers and evils of the legalization of marijuana. He never mentions the countless careers, years, and lives that have been ruined by an irresponsible and repressive law. Nor did he note the financial burden on the courts, police, and jails due to a nonviolent “crime.” The voters got it right. Let freedom ring.
