To the Editor:

Aetna insurance has removed all Vineyard pharmacies from their “preferred” list. This means that a $1 copay for warfarin, say, is now $19.36. To get the “preferred” rate you have to go off-Island.

Patients were notified of this change, but the pharmacies were not.
