Horseshoe crabs at the library

—Lanny McDowell

The West Tisbury library hosts Felix Neck naturalists Thursday, Feb. 23, at 4:30 when they present a screening and discussion of the PBS documentary “Crash: The Tale of Two Species.” Learn about the biology of horseshoe crabs, their use in the biomedical industry, and how species of shorebirds depend on these crabs to survive their annual migrations. The free screening will be followed by a brief talk and Q and A about the horseshoe crab surveying program at Felix Neck.
