The Edgartown Public Library will celebrate the career of children’s librarian Deborah MacInnis with a party and reception from 1 to 3 pm on Thursday, April 20, at the library. According to a press release, the event is hosted by the Friends of the Edgartown Library.

April 20 is the 40th anniversary of Ms. MacInnis’s hiring in 1977. All are invited to the party honoring one of the longest-serving municipal employees in the annals of Edgartown.
