Tim Maley served his last day as West Tisbury town constable on Thursday, April 13. Mr. Maley served as constable for 20 years. He handed in his hat and badge to West Tisbury town clerk Tara Whiting after monitoring voting on town election day.

Mr. Maley will be replaced by John Powers, who worked as the town’s health agent for 30 years. In the West Tisbury annual town report, Mr. Maley was thanked for his service: “The town would like to thank Tim Maley for his 20 years of service as constable,” it reads. “His trademark hat and ringing of the bell made for an entertaining and efficient voting day.”
