MVYLI is accepting nominations

The Martha’s Vineyard Youth Leadership Institute (MVYLI) is accepting nominations for its 13th annual Youth Leadership Summit, taking place on-Island June 24 to 30. According to a press release, Vineyard youth will join with young people from around the world who want to build a better world. The summit inspires, educates, and empowers young people to take initiative in their lives and on their Island. In this weeklong intensive leadership training, youth delegates envision their personal, professional, Island, and planetary goals. MVYLI is seeking passionate, self-motivated, culturally respectful youths ages 15 to 17, who want to learn to become leaders and make things happen. If they know someone who might be a good fit, community members and educators can nominate youth.

Summit orientation is May 8: MVPCS at noon; MVRHS in the library conference room at 2:15 pm. For more information: Send nominations to
