Felix Neck Wildlife Sanctuary will soon have a four-season education facility, now in the final phase of construction, with an anticipated ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for June 12.
According to a press release sent from Autumn Construction, an Edgartown-based firm, the company broke ground in April, and Kevin Cusack, owner of the company, designed the custom post and beam barn.
“What was a dream in the fall of 2016 became a reality thanks to the generous grant from MV Youth, community donations, and ambitious efforts of the project team,” the press release said.
